Quilter's Paradise

This weekend I escaped to the Franciscan Guest House in Kennebunk Maine on a Quilt Retreat... 4 days of unlimited sewing time with the amazingly talented BMQG gang.  I may have been a bit ambitious about how much I was going to get done;-)

As usual I spent lots of time socializing but I did manage to piece my Enchanted top.

I also was having some tension issues but Father Frangelico helped solve those...

so I was able to finish quilting this baby quilt from my UFO pile;-)

Of course no trip to Maine would be complete without a trip to Marden's.  I think some of my "friends" may have stripped the shelves but I still managed to score a few fabulous fabrics... definitely what I need after being so inspired by much creativity.  I can't wait to start planning my next project!!!

  1. See, you were productive too! You might have been more productive on the socializing front, but you managed to get a decent amount of work done.

  3. Looks like you had a great time! I *so* wish I didn't have to work last weekend, I'm really looking forward to joining in the fun next time! I love the new fabrics you picked up, too. You will have a lot to show at the next meeting!
