Pillow sized is just as nice;-)alidizahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13250851813477491151noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5647070713689156437.post-2329680997615970372018-01-22T09:58:07.075-05:002018-01-22T09:58:07.075-05:00Thanks Melody!!! I machine pieced the plates. Then...Thanks Melody!!! I machine pieced the plates. Then I basted together a quilt sandwich with my backing fabric, batting, and white linen background fabric which I then machine appliqued/quilted the plates onto. Now that they are all machine quilted on to the quilt sandwich I am hand quilting around each plate. Once I get done with that I'll go back and machine quilt centers on each plate. Hope that makes sense. It's similar to the technique I describe here, http://www.alidiza.com/2013/10/ghastly-games.htmlalidizahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13250851813477491151noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5647070713689156437.post-11052344727039434422018-01-20T10:16:38.465-05:002018-01-20T10:16:38.465-05:00Are you hand sewing the Dresden Plates, or machine...Are you hand sewing the Dresden Plates, or machine stitching? Your La Pass is still a favorite of mine. I saw a deal on Massdrop for La Pass and gave it considerable thought. Haven't caved yet though. I don't think I'd ever finish it! piecefulwendyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02256164519304112032noreply@blogger.com
